Walking into a new school year as upperclassmen is a big change, especially after a summer full of fun! Nevertheless Junior Olivia Molloy woke up super early ready for the day. She describes, “My first thought was that I had to get ready really fast because I had to go pick up my best friend.” Before driving to school Olivia had to start her day off with some coffee from Dunkin. Coming back, Olivia recalls, “I had a few jitters walking in but once I saw everyone it was settled. My biggest highlight was definitely getting to see my friends again and getting to leave earlier in the school day!” Olivia takes classes in-person and online, because of this she gets to go home a little earlier then 1:44.

Not only was being an upperclassmen a big difference but Olivia saw many changes as she went about her first day. She explains, “I honestly didn’t expect there to be so many people in each of my classes.” The Seahawk nest is definitely growing but that’s not the only thing growing. Olivia says, “I notices myself being more aware with my surroundings and more confident.” There is definitely more comfortability going to a school for the third year.
Junior year is a busy year for Olivia as she is very involved in numerous extracurriculars Sunlake has to offer. As vice president of Key club she is, “. . working on some big things!” Additionally Olivia is really thrilled for all that she will be doing with the health programs at Sunlake. She says, “I’m really excited for my classes in the Medical Academy. I’m looking forward to being one step closer to accomplishing my certifications!” Olivia Molloy will be getting her CNA certification by the time she graduates through completing skills and going through a clinical process.
In general, Olivia got to see a sneak peak of all that lies ahead of her for Year 3!
