Labor Day can be a time for lots of fun activities, especially when considering the extra day added to the weekend. Noelle set a plan for this weekend months ago, and she spent every week working hard to save up for her Lady Gaga concert in Miami.
Leading up to the moment of the concert, Noelle and her mom woke up early so they could take the train to Miami. Unfortunately, the train got delayed and they wouldn’t make it in time. However, this did not stop them, as they decided to drive there instead. Although it was a long journey, they arrived at the concert on time and had a great experience together.
When asked about her favorite part of the concert, Noelle said, “She performed her song ‘Garden of Eden’, it’s my favorite.” Noelle has been listening to Lady Gaga for years and despite that, the song ‘Garden of Eden’ from her new album, ‘Mayhem’ is her top song. This being Noelle’s first ever concert, she had this to say. “This really sets a high standard for any other concert I’ll go to.” Lady Gaga is known for her high energy, choreographed concerts.
Despite how well Noelle’s experience turned out, it could have potentially never happened at all. Just two days later, Lady Gaga had to postpone her shows due to severe vocal strain. Both Noelle and her mom were grateful that they got to see the concert when they did.
After reflecting on the fun experience, Noelle had this to say about Labor Day. “I think it’s a really good holiday to have. Everyone deserves a break.” After several long weeks since school has started, everyone here at Sunlake can agree that a long weekend was well deserved.
