Taylor Van Brocklin had a very busy week before the football game on Friday. She had basketball, conditioning, and other after school activities such as attending the volleyball game. All of this led to the big day. The highlight of her week is always the Friday football game and getting to dress up with her friends.
On September 9th the Sunlake Seahawks held out the Seminole Warhawks with the final score of 49-0. Taylor Van Brocklin was one of the many fans that came to support the team. She stated, “The football games and this one in particular are so much fun. They truly are what get me through the school week. Knowing that I have such a fun night planned with me and my friends at the end of the week is such a good way to keep me motivated and positive. The football game this past week was so much fun and such a huge win for us Seahawks.” Some of the people she went with were Josie Foster, Kyla Johnston, Alyssa Roberts, and even more. The theme for this game was frat boys Taylor said, “I could not pass up this awesome theme. Me and multiple of my friends wore some of our dads and brothers old button ups and backwards hats. I would say we executed the theme pretty well.” She seemed to have a lot of fun watching our team earn such a big win.
Taylor’s favorite part of the game besides seeing the seven touchdowns was, “the tailgate before the game with my friends. I love how our school does tailgates because it does such a great job of bringing everyone together.” Being united as a school is very important to succeeding and having fun. The tailgates unite the fans before they all go to cheer for our team. After this exhilarating game Taylor drove one of her friends home and ate some food. This win is a great way to start her weekend off.
