If you had to swap lives with someone, what would you do? Cause chaos? Go crazy? Throw a huge party? Though having a “Freaky Friday” is not possible, lets take a look at what it is like being Annabelle Avant for 120 hours. Monday was jam-packed for Annabelle between having volleyball practice, a birthday dinner for her sister, and homework. Annabelle is one of the starting setters for the JV volleyball team, wearing the number 6. When asked about Monday practice she said “It was good but kind of tiring. It was a productive practice though because I got a lot of work in and got to work on connections with everybody.” Tuesday’s game against East Lake High School showcased how talented Annabelle. Ace after ace, assist after assist, Annabelle helped carry her team to victory against the East Lake Eagles. She explained that they “worked together as a team and that’s why we won.” Annabelle’s homework on Wednesday had her a bit stunted. When asked how she felt about her homework and her classes, Annabelle said that “It’s a lot different from my middle school but so far it is going good. I do like all my teachers for the most part. It can be a little stressful sometimes though.” And yet, Annabelle is passing all her classes with A’s and B’s. On Thursday Annabelle had another volleyball game for school. She helped her team beat the Cypress Creek Coyotes 2-0/2-1. Friday felt like a breath of relief. She and her team traveled out to Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus to participate in the Florida Gem tournament. “It sucks to lose but we grew as a team which made us better for upcoming games.” To finally cap off her week, Annabelle went to a birthday party, ending her week off on the perfect note.
