Olivia Reed, a junior at Sunlake High School, had an exciting experience representing her club at the annual club fair. Olivia is an officer in the Pre-Health Club, serving as treasurer, where she is responsible for managing the club’s funds and expenses. This is her first year being part of the club, and she has already developed a strong passion for the organization and what it offers to students. When asked why she chose to join, Olivia explained that the Pre-Health Club provides members with valuable opportunities to learn about careers in the medical field. “I definitely recommend people to join,” she shared, “because it gives them an insight into what people in the medical field do on a daily basis, how they worked their way up to their position, and why they chose their careers.” For Olivia, being part of this club is not only about school involvement but also about preparing for the future. At the club fair, Olivia and her fellow officers worked hard to meet their goal, which was “to recruit as many people as possible to join our club.” They enthusiastically spoke with students, explained the club’s purpose, and encouraged others to consider joining. Their efforts paid off in a big way. Before the fair, the Pre-Health Club had just 12 members. By the end of the event, the number had grown to 54 members, showing an impressive increase of over 40 students. Olivia expressed how proud she was of the results and the growth of the club. “One of the biggest positives is that our club has grown so much,” she said. The experience left her feeling accomplished and excited for the future. Overall, the club fair was a huge success for Olivia and the Pre-Health Club.
