On September 19th, Sunlake High School had their annual homecoming football game, and junior, Alissa Brunton attended and participated in running in the homecoming court with her boyfriend, junior, Nathan Grob. Alissa has shared her experience about the game and the homecoming court walkthrough! She definitely showed how much fun she had and how happy she was that she got to do it with Nathan as well. She was asked how the crowd’s reaction was during the game, and she stated, “The crowd was super hype whenever we got touchdowns, Sunlake’s Hawkeye does such a great job with getting everyone’s spirit up!” Another main question was about homecoming court, which she said she ran her freshman year, but this time she wanted to run with Nathan. She loved making the cute posters, and everyone who wanted them to win reposted them on their Snapchat story or Instagram story to get more people to vote for them. She did also say how much support she was receiving during the competitive voting process. Many people came up to Alissa and stated that they voted for her, and all her friends expressed how they would spread the word for her. She was so grateful for the positive experience she had. Switching the topic, she had talked about the halftime show, “I thought it was so amazing! The band and color guard always look so beautiful. You can tell they put so much effort into the performance.” She also expressed how her favorite part of the game was seeing and hanging out with her friends, junior,

Adrianna Jordan and junior, Mia Fackler. “We always end up giggling and laughing together,” she stated. Other than that, she enjoyed this whole experience, and she was very happy with it.
