Last week, sophomore Hannah Saadi had a lot of responsibilities to fulfill, as well as many exciting events to attend! From the Homecoming football game and birthday parties to big tests and late-night homework, it’s safe to say this sophomore’s schedule is anything but boring.
Last week was a big one, packed with school spirit and excitement. Like many students, Hannah had been looking forward to Homecoming and the big game for over a month. “The highlight of my week was definitely Homecoming,” she said. “I was so excited that we won the Homecoming game, and I had the time of my life with my friends at the dance!”

Of course, school life isn’t all fun dances, though. In between the fun, there was plenty of hard work. With a biology test, a PowerPoint presentation, and an art project all due in the same week, the pressure was definitely on. “Having a lot of homework along with Homecoming was a little stressful, but the satisfaction from getting good grades on all my hard work was worth it…” she admitted. The relief of getting a 100% on her test, and an A on her PowerPoint presentation and art project, she finally took the time to relax after a long week. She emphasized that even with the most thrilling week she’s had, she’s ready to wind down and do some of her favorite hobbies, including skateboarding around her neighborhood and playing the guitar.
Looking forward, Hannah is excited to go to Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream with her family! With spooky season in full swing, it’s clear the excitement isn’t slowing down anytime soon. “I’m obsessed with Halloween and horror, so I’m excited to go and experience the fun!”
As for goals in the future, Hannah is dedicated to keeping up her grades, as well as making sure to enjoy her sophomore year, and not waste a single bit of it!
