Skit night is a night where seniors gather together to showcase their creativity and talent on the stage. Mckenzie Richardson, a Senior at sunlake high school, was one of these students. “My favorite part about skit this year was definitely when we got to perform our skit, We had so much fun with our costumes and dances!” She exclaims. It was a very bittersweet moment, especially because of senior night. “It was even more sad to think that this was our last year,” Mckenzie expressed. What made skit so special this year was the amount of emotion, from parents to underclassmen.

“This year was so different because of the amount people crying, it was honestly shocking,” She stated. This year, her and her classmates worked hard to put everything together. She says, “It was so much fun, I wish we had one more year so we could do it again!” Though there weren’t many challenges, there where many moments where they all had to work together. It even brought the class closer after all the emotional and fun moments they shared. “I would say the funniest moment was when the boys and girls had a rap battle against each other!” Mckenzie shares. She also shared how the costumes and the rap battle stood out the most in the performance, and even the parents dancing for their skit. Lastly, she says, “If I were to give someone advice on skit, I would say to not take it too seriously and just have fun with it!”
