Picture day for Brynner Gibbs, a sophomore at Sunlake. Brynner started the day with the usual morning routine, but there was a bit more attention given to his hair. “I just wanted to make sure my hair looked decent for the photo.”, Brynner explained. Unlike some students who get really hyped for picture day, Brynner admitted to not being overly enthusiastic. “Am I excited? Not really, to be honest. I’m not a huge fan of getting my picture taken in general. Its just one of those things I have to do though”.

Despite the lack of excitement, Brynner put some thought into what to wear. He decided on a basic look. “I decided to wear black because it just makes me pop, you know. its an everyday look. ” When it was time for the actual photo, Brynner was pleasantly surprised with the result. “I actually think it came out really good”, he said. “The photographer did a very good job, and I was happy with how it looked.” It seems that even those who don’t love getting their picture taken can still be happy with the final photo when the photographer knows what they are doing.
One of the funnier moments of the interview was when Brynner talked about leaving class for the photo. When asked about it, he said “yes, I was happy to leave class! I am not a huge fan of my 4th period.” This honest answer gives a little show into the daily life of a student, where a break from class is always welcome. overall, Brynner’s picture day was a blend of routine, style, and a bit of “just getting it done”, resulting in a photo that Brynner was happy with in the end.
