An event that people all across America from the west to the east coast cherish is the Superbowl. The Superbowl has been around for 55 years and is the one thing football teams strive to win to cap off their season. The game is played on the 2nd Sunday of February each year. This year the Superbowl was between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. On paper, this game was a interesting one. The Chiefs making it back to the final again from the 2021 final and the Eagles trying to win their 2nd ring in their history. A fan of the Chiefs is freshman Briana McGregor. She has “supported the chiefs for 2 years now.”  Going into the game she knew “it was going to be a tough game, but the team pulled through as usual after those injuries.” In the middle of the game, the quarterback and most arguably the most important player on the team, Patrick Mahomes injured his ankle. But came back 2nd half to help win the game. With this win, Briana “felt great and excited” that the team made it this far and finished the job at hand. The Superbowl is one of the most watched games in America and will continue to be a competitive game people love to watch.
