A famous tradition at Sunlake is the painting of senior parking spots. Each year, seniors get to design and paint their parking spot of the year. Senior Zoe Bastable got to do this on her “…birthday and it definitely made it an unforgettable one.” Zoe’s parking spot is a collection of red hearts that she hopes will remind her of unconditional love each time she parks there. She was able to bring this design to life with the help of her mom, Mrs. Camper, who is a teacher here at Sunlake. She explains how enjoyable it was to “…see the final product of something we had created and accomplished together.” Her mom helped her make stencils for the heart and even free handed some paintings. Zoe is grateful to have had this opportunity to make some new memories with her mom.
