Like many other seniors, Nathan Lauer attended Senior Sunrise on the first day of school. This event is a unique and special way to celebrate student’s last first day. He said, “I feel that being a senior isn’t something crazy different from other grades, but I still feel like I have more weight on my shoulders and a lot more responsibility.” Nathan explains that the new year comes with new pressure to fulfil the title of a senior in high school. Knowing that he is a senior now, he will start doing college related things and preparing for the next steps of his life.
