A special tradition and privilege that seniors get to enjoy at the beginning of the school year is painting their own parking spots. They get to choose their own design, use paint, stencils, and more to place their creative thoughts on their own spot. Evan Bagniuk, a senior this year, had a fun and joyous experience working on his own spot. When explaining his design Evan said, “I painted my parking spot based off of golf. I was inspired by it because it’s the sport I love and I want to express my love for it.” He was relatively quick to finish painting as it took him only 30 minutes. Evan explains that the hardest part “…was painting the background and the fact that it was very hot.” While many other seniors had assistance in painting their spots, Evan went solo. He shared, “I did it by myself, I really didn’t need that much help.” Overall, it was very fun time for Evan and he enjoyed the special occasion.
