Our Seahawks woke up not bright, but early to kick off their year at Senior Sunrise. Bruce Myrtil is a senior this year that woke up and joined in on the festivities. Bruce had a mission and arrived to his last first day at 5:55am and “…met with Shelby Wheaton, Kolin Murphy, Aiden Perkins, and Koen Devenny.” Although he shared he was sweating like crazy, he still “…enjoyed the food and had eight or nine plates.” Bruce said that as a lineman he needs to eat. He watched the sunrise with some friends and continued to eat the delicious food that was prepared for our seniors. Since this was the Senior Sunrise, Bruce reflected on his part school years and tried to “…figure out how I made it this far.” This year Bruce is making an effort to “…get my GPA up, have fun, and play some football.” Bruce really wants to continue his football career after high school and potentially play somewhere. Senior year is the year most students looks forward to because not only are students almost finished with high school, but they enjoy the many festivities planned to make it a great last year.
