August Pedersen is a Junior from Copenhagen, Denmark starting his junior year in America as a foreign exchange student. The U.S. and Europe have very different definitions of “football.” This was August’s first American football game. Since this was his fist American Football game, some would have thought that he would have a tough time figuring out how the sport is played, but he “had the guys explain it to me, so I was able to somewhat understand it.” He said that “it was fun, and there was a good vibe.” Something that was surprising to August was having theme nights for different football games. He said that he enjoyed it and that he has “never been to a sports game with a theme.” After the game he went to Chick-Fil-a with some friends and enjoyed some great food with great company.
