Senior Roman Muniz—the president of Poetry Club—stated: “Poetry club is a place for people to share the poems they write and the poems they find. We share poems with each other and write with specific themes and activities. We also allow for constructive criticism, if desired, to improve writing. As of now, we only meet every other Thursday, however, we are looking into school events for April since it is poetry month.”
They go on with their personal experience, saying, “I first joined because I walked into Ms. Ramos’s room while a meeting was in session and I loved the vibe of the club; I found it relaxing and conducive to writing. Poetry club is mainly a hobby for me. I love literature as a whole and this is a laidback way to enjoy it.”
