Students taking science classes this year are already getting settled in and some have even started doing labs! During the first lab in Physics class, students had to design a circuit to power a lightbulb. This lab allowed students to gain a grasp on the basics of electricity and power. One junior, Samuel Chacon, described his first few weeks in the class and what he thought about the first lab. “The class this year has been very interesting… The lab was very fun because we got to design our own circuit.” Samuel and other classmates were able to successfully create a working circuit and they got some hands-on experience with basic physics principles.
