Many Sunlake students enjoy their extracurricular activities and participating in clubs. One particular club, the Science National Honors Society (SNHS), has already kicked off for the new year. Students interested in science and looking for a social opportunity joined or were already in this club. For Junior Nathan Laws, it is his first year in the club. He explained that he “…joined it because it seemed fun as well as it being an honors society which looks good on my college resume.” Nathan explains that “…the meeting was very fun. We were told what the club was about and we voted on officers.” To finish, Nathan says, “I am so excited for this club and I am especially excited for the science labs that we will do during meetings.”
