Yearbook is a class that focuses on creating the yearbook for the school throughout the year. Students are the main creators of this book with their teacher, Mr. Webster, there to guide them. It’s a great environment where we are encouraged to engage with others and talk to people. It can be hard at times, but there is always someone to help. We want you to get to know the amazing staff that helps create this amazing book full of memories throughout the year. So an interview was conducted with one of the staffers for the yearbook. We asked this person a series of questions so you can really get an understanding of really what this class is all about and to get to know the people that do this hard work to make the yearbook.
Selena Schultz is a senior at Sunlake High School and is part of the amazing yearbook team. So we wanted to get some thoughts from her on this class. When asked how she has enjoyed Sunlake over the years, she said: “I love Sunlake, the people are good and I like my friends. The classes are engaging. There are a lot of different curricular activities.” She has had a love for Sunlake since she has landed here and has really built something from it. She was then asked what about yearbook interests you and what does not interest her. She responded with, “I like to write and want to learn more about the student’s, but I don’t want to cover sports.” She has a hate for sports and does not like, watch, or enjoy it whatsoever. Selena has a real love for writing and she said, “I want to be an English writer.” So because of her efforts in the writing aspect in yearbook, she may be able to achieve what she want to really accomplish.
