During the Labor day holiday, students from Sunlake get a day off from school. Some go out and do stuff with friends and family, while some may stay home. It truly is a personal preference, but everyone has the same commodity of getting their first day off from school of the year. Sophomore Nathaniel Peguero decided to stay home during his day off. “I would much rather stay home during a day off from school.” He feels that whenever he gets a chance to relax, he will take that opportunity. When asked what he did while he stayed home, Nathan says, “I slept until 12 o’clock, ate lunch, and played video games.” The video games he played included Call of Duty and Fortnite, which Nathaniel says “…are my favorite games.” Nathaniel voiced his opinion on other people who went out of their houses during labor day and said, “I don’t really have a judgement for what people did on Labor day, but my personal preference was to stay home and catch up on sleep. If I had the opportunity to go out with my family, I would choose to stay home.”
