NHS, also known as National Honor Society, is a national organization for students to grow in leadership, service, scholarship, and character. It’s also for students who excel in academics and extracurriculars. Starting this year, English teacher Mrs. Stromberg sponsors NHS for Sunlake. Senior Ana Sofia Lonodo said, “I joined NHS because I like how it highlights students who excels in education, and it brings students together.” By meeting the unweighted GPA requirement and showing eligibility, Ana Sofia Lonodo was able to join NHS.
