While most students are going to school every day here in Florida, Junior Mckenna Cerra was on a whole different continent. Mckenna went to Europe with her family to explore the captivating cities. Her trip was made even more special when she reunited with her old volleyball friends in Munich.
In the amazing week she spent in Europe, she embarked on many sightseeing adventures. Mckenna shared that she, “…travelled to the sites most well-known and ate the local food.” She said that out of all the places she visited her favorite was the Princess Diana Memorial Park dedication. The elegant fountain made of marble reminded Mckenna of her first visit to Europe.
While in Munich, Germany, Mckenna experienced the popular fall festival, Oktoberfest, where she reunited with her friends. She then made her way to Paris to visit the breathtaking Notre Dame and the iconic Eiffel Tower. Her last stop was London, which ended up being her favorite. Mckenna also went on one of the iconic big red buses throughout the streets of London. Afterwards, she made her way to Big Ben and Princess Diana’s memorial park.
