Noah Downey is currently a junior at Sunlake High School. He participated in both skit and powderpuff this year. Powderpuff is an event during homecoming week where the girls play flag football and the boys cheer and dance. Skit is another homecoming festivity. They are entertaining performances put together by the students to share. Participating in homecoming events makes the week so much more enjoyable and exciting to look forward to. Noah has participated in skits and powderpuff for the past three years at Sunlake. Noah explained that “It’s always super fun and you get to do things with your friends.” Homecoming week can also be pretty stressful; it’s easy for things to go wrong. Thankfully for Noah, nothing went out of place and the junior boys won second place for their powderpuff dance. Noah believes, “Overall we did amazing in both skit and powderpuff.”  He as well as the rest of the school killed their performances and did an overall amazing job.
