Junior Emma Hirsch attended the Homecoming Dance at Sunlake High School. Emma enjoyed getting ready with all her friends and says, “I really enjoyed getting ready with my friends, I mean I already had the dress so all I had to do was my hair and makeup, we then took pictures and then went out to eat. Doing that kind of thing alone from the homecoming dance made my night.” Although Emma only attended the dance for about an hour, she had a lot of fun dancing to the music. “I was only there for an hour and had already eaten before, so I didn’t eat at the dance, but some of my friends ate some of the food, they didn’t seem to mind,” stated Emma. She claims that since she was there for a limited amount of time, she didn’t really have an opinion about the dance and said she wouldn’t change anything about it. Emma also had the opportunity to win the Homecoming court and said she enjoyed running. “The overall Homecoming experience was so fun. And winning HOCO court was an overall valuable experience before high school ends,” said Emma.
