This weekend was a busy one for junior Madylena (Mady) Perez. Mady plays soccer competitively for Tampa Bay United and travels constantly. Concerning this past weekend, Mady shared, “I went to South Carolina to play my last fall club games of the season.” Soccer clubs usually take a break for the winter season as school soccer seasons starts up. Mady is extremely excited for school soccer even though she will miss her club team. Mady was very happy to travel for this game because she said, “I got to spend the weekend with my dad, sister, and teammates.” During the trip, she shared that her “…favourite part was touring the colleges around there.” Although Mady loves to travel for soccer, she explained that she “…travels for club soccer a lot,” so she has learned to balance her time.
