Students dressed to impress for the lights, camera, action theme at this year’s homecoming dance. Senior Gabriela Carrioni says she really enjoys Homecoming every year. “Even though I left pretty early this year,” Gabriela said, “…being able to get dressed up and have fun with my friends is always a good start to the year.” This is Gabriela’s last Homecoming dance, and she was determined to make it count. When asked what her favorite part about Homecoming was, she said, “I really like the dance itself, but more than anything, I love Homecoming week. Skit, Powderpuff, and dress up days are some of the highlights of high school in my opinion.” Gabriela is ready to take the next step to college but will remember the memories she has made at the various Homecoming dances and Homecoming weeks that she has been able to participate in.
