Sophomore Amelia Tineo had a fantastic time at Sunlake’s Homecoming on September 23. The process for Amelia to get ready was an all-day activity, but she was very happy with how everything turned out that day. Amelia and her best friends got ready and then met up at the Long Lake Ranch dock to take many pictures to capture the evening. After they were done, they all went back to Amelia’s house to eat some delicious food before taking off for the dance. Walking in, Amelia immediately noticed the decorations and how neatly they were all setup. Amelia said, “I had an amazing time at Homecoming; I got to meet so many new people and make memories with some of my closest friends.” One of Amelia’s highlights at Homecoming was getting pushed in the circle and going out of her comfort zone to dance. She also thought it was interesting how there was a photobooth and a 360 machine this year. She also appreciated all of the food available in the cafeteria. She stated, “Student council did an even better job than last year with the Homecoming dance.” To finish off the exciting night, Amelia and her best friend went to Chili’s where they talked about how much fun they had.
