Ever thought about what a week as a freshman looks like? Freshman Alexa Miller was a part of the Sunlake junior varsity volleyball team this year. With the school volleyball season ending, Alexa started her club season. She plays club volleyball at the Kiwi Volleyball Club. On Monday, it was her first official practice for her club season. Alexa stated “I am so excited for this club season.” On Tuesday, it was Halloween. Alexa really enjoyed Halloween and loved seeing everyone’s unique costumes. Alexa dressed up as Superman. She wore a blue top with a Superman logo and a red fringe glitter skirt. All of her friends dressed up as different superheroes. On Wednesday, it was early release. Alexa had her second volleyball practice for her club season. On Thursday, she didn’t do anything after school besides homework. To end Alexa’s week, she went to the last football game of the season. The Sunlake football team played Chiles High School, but sadly lost. Alexa really enjoyed hanging out with her friends and celebrating the seniors one last time. When asked what her favorite part of her week was she stated, “Celebrating and getting dressed up for Halloween was definitely my favorite part of my week.” Alexa really enjoyed her week of volleyball, hanging out with friends, and celebrating Halloween.
