Senior Jadon Olaffson’s arrival at Sunlake High School brought a fresh wave of energy to the football team. As the new quarterback, his natural talent and dedication to the game does not go unrecognized. Jadon said that his most memorable moment from his time playing football in high school is meeting and talking to the guys on the team at his first practice.
As both a player and a person, Jadon has grown and learned to be a leader. He has learned to use his work ethic on and off the field. Jadon is going to miss the practices and having fun with the guys more than anything. Jadon stated, “One of my favorite memories playing high school football is when I played West Bloomfield, a team back in Michigan, and I lead my team back from a 21-0 deficit.” When asked if he could go back in time and give his freshman self one piece of advice, Jadon said, “It would be to lift more consistently in the gym and work on my mental game just as much as the field work.”
