Nothing at all happened during this week which was from November 6 through the 10th. However, there are only a few more weeks away from Thanksgiving break and cold weather keeps on continuing. One freshman decided to share his thoughts on his week.

Evan Chase is a freshman at Sunlake High School and has enjoyed his first few months at this school. He has made new friends and has joined different clubs and activities and overall it has been fun for him so far. As it was mentioned, not too much happened this week. He said this in his thoughts about the week, “My week was good because school was very easy and I didn’t do very much this week.” He also added, “It was a pretty uneventful week other than the fact I made some new friends while volunteering at Oakstead.” Speaking of Oakstead, Evan volunteered there and said, ” I went to Oakstead to get a couple of Key Club hours to finish off the quarter.” As we get deeper into November we will have a week off for Thanksgiving break. Since Thanksgiving break is on the horizon, Evan said, “I’m excited for Thanksgiving break because I get to take a break from school and get some sleep because I don’t get very much normally.”
