Students around Sunlake have been awaiting a break for school. With Thanksgiving break passing, students finally get the break they have been long awaiting for. Many students had different plans for their break, staying home, going on vacation, and going to family, etc. Thanksgiving is a perfect time for rest and relaxation while also going back to family and being thankful for the things in life. For Sophomore Alejandro Soto Baez, his Thanksgiving break consisted of travelling out of the U.S. mainland to Puerto Rico.
Alejandro, Ale for short, really enjoyed his vacation this break. He says, “For thanksgiving this year I went to many different cities in Puerto Rico. I really enjoyed my vacation because [Puerto Rico] is a beautiful place.” Filled with scenic adventures, bustling cities, and beautiful scenery, Puerto Rico is a must see destination for any vacation. While he was there, Ale says, ” In Puerto Rico I went to many beaches, restaurants, and saw many beautiful sights.” Ale even went for a hike to visit the aesthetic waterfalls on the Island, pictured below. Since Ale had lots of fun during his trip, he had one particular favorite part, “my favorite part of my vacation was going to a hidden waterfall.” This hidden waterfall was Ale’s highlight of his trip. He also, “enjoyed taking plenty of aesthetic pictures of the scenery and posting them on his social media.” To finish, Alejandro states that, “I would 100% want to go to Puerto Rico again.”
