Thanksgiving break is a much anticipated break that everyone looks forward to from teachers to students. It’s short but very needed for everyone. This year, during Thanksgiving break, junior Olivia Rodriguez seized the opportunity to travel with her best friend and her family out of state to Texas. Olivia spent the whole week in Texas doing new things as well as exploring since she had never been to Texas before. When asked what she did during the trip, Olivia said, “We visited the San Antonio boardwalk and went to the fair that they had going on there. The boardwalk was my favorite part of the trip since it was so pretty and colorful.” As Thanksgiving dinner arrived Olivia and her friend participated in a grand dinner, surrounded by family members who had also flown in from across the country. During Thanksgiving, the family also celebrated someone’s birthday, which made the event even more memorable. When asked whether she would go there again Olivia replied, “Yes, I would love to go again since I had such a great time.” This year’s thanksgiving break will be one to remember for Olivia due to the fun adventures and bonding she experienced.
