Sophomore Melodi Kazazi is a very dedicated student that enjoys studying and acting. She has a show called the nutcracker in which she is a part of the Russian dance. She said, “We do a lot of stuff, but I am part of the Russian dance. It is really fun and I like it.” Even though she has to practice for this, she is still really responsible in school. She keeps most of her grades high and she is always trying to go for the highest points on her assignments.

Some people might think that doing all the practices for this will take away time she uses for school, but in reality, she always finds time to balance the two activities. In fact, she said, “…usually I try to use my time behind scenes to study and finish any homework I have from school. It’s pretty calm and fun back there and there is a lot of space to do anything.” She also enjoys just playing around and doing fun stuff with her friends while waiting to go backstage. Even though all of this takes a lot of energy, she is always trying her best whenever she can.
