Administrator Mr. Elias had an average week at Sunlake High School besides the fact it was Christmas dress up week. Mr. Elias finished his weekend by working out, watching movies, and meal prepping for the new week. He started his Monday by arriving to school at 6:25 like usual to sort out any issues. This could include a shortage of substitutes or a problem with a student. Once that is sorted out, he goes to Building 3’s left commons to keep a watch on the area. He repeated that same routine throughout the week because that is what a normal day at Sunlake looks like for Mr. Elias. He said, “Out of all the places I’ve been at, I enjoy working here the most.” He has been working at Sunlake for the past seven years and loves it so much. Mr. Elias said, “The thing I like most about working at Sunlake are the students and the people I get to interact with on a daily basis.” He also participated in the dress up week. On Wednesday, he dressed up like Buddy the Elf and on Thursday as a surprise outfit right before break. Mr. Elias has some exciting and fun plans outside of school too. He is going fishing in kayaks with some of his teacher friends as well as going boar hunting with some family.
