The week of December 18-22 was both an exciting and stressful week. The exciting part was that Christmas break was around the corner and everyone was excited. The less exciting thing was testing and trying to cram in those good grades at the end of the second quarter. Teachers and staff were especially excited for Christmas break. A teacher was asked about how this week went.
Mrs. Trang is a case manager at Sunlake and has worked for a while here. She works with students who may have a harder time succeeding in High School. She started by saying that her week, “…was okay, because I was getting ready for the holidays and it was stressful. ” Although it can be stressful at some points, she did have some fun this week. She said, “I participated in the school dress-up days and participated in a white elephant with some friends.” As mentioned earlier, Christmas break was around the corner and she was asked about what she was excited about for Christmas, which she said, “Yes, I’m so excited because I get two weeks off and I get to relax and hang out with my family.” As this week was ending and students were trying to finalize their grades, it was stressful. Some students and staff made accomplishments that may be major to them. Mrs. Trang was asked if she made any accomplishments this week and she said, “Yes, one of my students worked hard to get his biology grade from an F to a C and I was very proud of him.”
