The team’s path to victory included a challenging semifinal encounter against Cypress Creek, followed by the decisive finals held later that night at the prestigious Rowdies Stadium. The girls varsity team triumphed in the finals with a convincing 3-1 victory over Palm Harbor, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of high school soccer. Reflecting on the monumental achievement, junior Adia Symmonds shared her sentiments, emphasizing the significance of the game for both her and the team. She remarked, “It was the first time we qualified for the top 10 tournament,” highlighting the historic nature of their accomplishment.
