Random Acts of Kindness is one of the many clubs at Sunlake High School. In this club, students perform acts of kindness for the community. On Tuesday, January 23rd, the club had a meeting in the sponsor’s classroom in building 10. As Valentine’s day approaches, the club decided to do something about it. Maggie Chauncy is a junior in the club who attended the meeting on the 23rd. She said her reason for joining the club was she “…thought it was a really neat opportunity to meet people and give recognition.” According to Maggie she said, “We made valentines because I know Valentine’s Day can be a hard day for some people and we want to give it to people who might not get something.” In her POV, the club is a wonderful opportunity to help make people feel better and spread some kindness.
