The varsity cheer squad at Sunlake is filled with so much talent! These amazing girls ended their season with a fun banquet. At this banquet, there were eight awards handed out . The first award was the “Best Attitude Award,” which was earned by senior Kelsey Hobbs. The second award was the “Most Improved Award,” given to senior Ivanna Todd. The third award was the “Most Encouraging Award,” handed to sophomore Lamai Robinson. The fourth award was the “Loudest Award,” which was won by sophomore Gracie Agan. The fifth award was the “Leadership Award,” presented to senior Jillian Moore. The sixth award was the “Best Technique Award,” awarded to freshman Alyson Ray. The seventh award was the “Best all Around Award,” received by freshman, Grace Johnson. And the final award was the “Positivity Award,” granted to sophomore Olivia Fink. All of the girls on this squad have gone through so much together this season. After all the heartfelt speeches, it was emotional to say goodbye to the seniors especially. The cheer banquet created enduring memories and instilled a feeling of pride in everyone who helped the team succeed, serving as a fitting tribute to the tenacity and camaraderie that characterize the squad’s spirit.
