Away from school, people tend to host gatherings with those close to them. This year over winter break one of such gatherings junior Bryony Brandon had attended was a bonfire hosted by her friend. Bryony said that it was a first for her; she had never attended a similar event to it before this one. The bonfire had many of Bryony’s friends there for her to see and hang out with as well as some new people she had met and talked to at the event. When asked what she did there, she answered, “We were hanging out by the fire, listening to music, and talking mainly.” Over this winter break the bonfire had been one of many things that Bryony had done. When comparing the bonfire to the rest of her break, she said, “It was a very big event for me over break. The bonfire was one of the better gatherings I went to. It was very lively and had a great atmosphere.” Before the bonfire in the evening, Bryony said that her friend came over for them to get ready, and head to the bonfire together. Later in the night when the bonfire had ended Bryony and her friend went to another friend’s house. Afterwards, they went home to end the night with a sleepover. She said that she would also want to attend a similar event since she had such a great time.
