Jeremiah Brown, a freshman at Sunlake High School, had a pretty average but fun week of basketball and training. At school throughout the week Jeremiah had to take a few tests for each class which made school pretty boring. Jeremiah said, “School was pretty boring but I get to look forward to playing basketball after school each day.” Jeremiah had basketball practice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and then had a basketball game on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday, Jeremiah and the rest of the basketball team played against Mitchell High School and lost 72-77. Friday night’s basketball game was also senior night for the boys basketball team and they played against Weeki Wachee High School and won 80-26. Jermiah’s highlight of this week was attempting to dunk the ball at the Sunlake basketball game on senior night. Jermiah said, “The worst part of the week was losing to Mitchell even though we should’ve won.” Going into the weekend he spent it resting and training for basketball like always. Jeremiah said, “All I do is train in my free time I don’t really do anything else.” He rated his overall week a solid seven out of ten; not bad but could’ve been better.
