This week was uneventful with nothing going on. We are a few weeks into the third quarter and everything at Sunlake is running extremely well. Still a few months away from the end of the year and a few weeks until spring break. A freshman was interested in sharing his week.
Michael Lyon is a freshman at Sunlake High School. He has enjoyed Sunlake so far and said, “I feel perfect about Sunlake; they are very accepting and the teachers are kind.” He continued as he said, “My week was good because I got to present a presentation in Mr. Hussey’s class.” He did some other exciting things this week as well. He said, “I participated in the wing-eating competition. I was able to play a piece of music I’ve been working on.” As we are a few weeks into the second semester he said, “I’m feeling happy, but also scared for the future because of testing.” Students all across campus are beginning to prepare for final exams and testing approaching in the next few months.
