Sophomore Mckenzie Richardson had a very fun and exciting weekend. On Friday after school, Mckenzie went to Starbucks with a few close friends before they all went back to her house for a sleepover. They watched the movie The Hunger Games while hanging out in the hot tub. They shared a lot of laughs and had an overall amazing night. Mckenzie stated, “I had so much fun hanging out with my friends after a long stressful week of school.” On Saturday, Mckenzie and her friends woke up and had breakfast before everyone left. Later in the day on Saturday Mckenzie went to her aunt’s house to visit her cousins and see her family. On Sunday Mckenzie spent all day excited for her night. Mckenzie was going to see Drake. Her mom surprised her with tickets at Christmas and the anticipated day had finally come. Mckenzie was so excited; she spent all day getting ready. She ended up wearing a green long sleeve with white cargo pants. Mckenzie and her mom got to Amalie Arena around six. The openers started performing around seven and Drake came on stage around nine. Mckenzie had the best night. When asked about the concert Mckenzie stated, “It was unreal. I’m so grateful I was able to experience it.” Mckenzie can not wait to see what the rest of her sophomore year has in store for her.
