This week wasn’t too special, but we are ever so close to the end of the third quarter and only a few months out from the end of the year. As we continue to get closer, many students may feel scared or thrilled about getting to the end of the year. A sophomore decided to share her thoughts.
Isabella Gray is a sophomore at Sunlake High School and is part of the yearbook editorial staff. “I enjoy Sunlake a lot,”she said. “I like the teachers, they treat us like adults and respect us.” Isabella’s week was decent and she spent time overcoming her fears. “I think it was okay,” she said. “I got some schoolwork done, I made some progress at rock climbing practice and moved past my fear of lead climbing.” Moving past fears is important and with her being able to move past that fear now she states, ” This weekend on Saturday I will be competing in a climbing competition.” As another week continues to pass by, we get closer and closer to the end of the third quarter. Isabella shared some thoughts on her quarter three and said, “I feel pretty good. The second semester can be hard because of testing, but I can show what I know and we’re coming up on the end of the year so that’s fun.”
