This summer was packed with outdoor adventures for many of the students at Sunlake. Whether it be indoor or outdoor activities, sports or art, Seahawks enjoyed a wide variety of activities this summer.
One summer standout was Junior, Brady Lasiewski, who made the most of the sunny days and warm nights. “Most of my summer consisted of going to the rec center and hooping with my friends, Alejandro, Tyler, Logan, and Jay.” Brady spent countless hours playing basketball at the Land O’ Lakes Rec Center, honing his skills and enjoying friendly competition with other students. Brady says, “although playing outside was fun, it was so hot. My friend almost had an asthma attack as we were playing. It was really scary.” When the sun went down, the fun didn’t stop. Brady and his friends often took late-night drives, exploring the quiet roads and making memories under the stars. “My friend Lil Ty (Tyler) got a new car so we all had fun cruising around town during the night.” This summer was all about staying active and creating unforgettable moments. Brady finishes saying, “I think this has been one of my favorite summers by far… it’s crazy how fast time has passed.”
Brady hopes to make the most of the rest of his summer and get prepared for the upcoming school year.
