Summer break in an excellent time for Sunlake students to spend time away from schoolwork and instead explore what the outdoors have to offer. Senior Tyler Dunbar did just that this summer, when he went to a cabin in Alabama, located on a lake! “The Alabama trip was especially fun because I got to go with my best friend and his family” Tyler said. He explained that it was great to out in a cabin right on a lake, detailing the rocky hills near the cabin itself. During the trip, Tyler went tubing and cliff jumping, describing it as “…both pretty dope and we had a good two days of doing just both of those things.” Tyler explained that he was actually able to originally go on this vacation as he “…didn’t figure out my ACT schedule in time and didn’t end up getting that scheduled in time.” By missing his ACT scheduling, Tyler inadvertently freed up a week to go out.” My friend just invited me to go so that was honestly pretty lucky with the timing.” While summer has come to an end, many students will likely continue exploring their interests and all the outdoors have to offer, though perhaps bundled up warm as winter will be here in no time!
