Summer is the time that many students travel with their families and friends to have a fun and memorable vacation. from traveling out of the country to enjoying a quick trip to the beach, Seahawks know how to make the most out of their summer break. Senior, Sammy Mizak took a trip to New York City for the first time and enjoyed the atmosphere of the

beautiful city. The trip was very exciting for her, as she got to explore a city much different than what she was used to. She stated that she, “enjoyed walking around Times square the most and getting to experience the crowds,” and that “It was new seeing so many tourists in one area.” Sammy expressed her love for the city and looks forward to visiting again because, “the energy and activity was ecstatic.” With New York City being such a large and busy place, it is definitely worth going back in order to experience everything it has to offer. Sammy said that, “There was so much to do and so many places to go shopping.”
