Adityasinh Chudasama, a junior at Sunlake highschool, had a great summer while working a part time job at Publix. Adi chose to start working at Publix about year and a half ago and has loved it ever since. He wanted to get this job to earn extra cash and also get service hours to use towards school. At Publix, he works as a front service clerk, so he is mostly managing the bagging of groceries. Adi said, “I like my job because it is not to hard to do and is not really tiring.” Over the summer, Adi worked a few shifts a week since he had no school to conflict with his work schedule. Adi based a lot of his summer schedule, such as playing basketball and hanging out friends, around his work schedule. Adi was glad his work schedule was still pretty flexible, so he was able to still spend time with loved ones. Over summer, Adi managed to go to work and also balance traveling for his basketball tournaments. Adi said, “I would for sure work next summer because I get money to spend and do not have to worry about it.” Overall, Adi loved his job working at Publix and would totally do it next summer as well.
