In the summertime, the sun is shining and it’s the perfect time for an outdoor all day beach trip. Sophomore Nick Steward spent her summer mainly indoors,  but for one week she “…went to the beach with some of my closest friends!” Nick had a close friend who moved away to Nebraska, and she was visiting for the month, so they gathered their friend group together to spend a week out and about on a beach vacation. “We took lots of pictures of the scenery, we got smoothies together, and we swam a lot.” Nick explained. “The trip to the beach was really great! I was glad to spend some time with my friends, and we did a lot while on the trip. It was a really good time.” Nick and her friends, Taelor Stevens and Mara Crockett, planned this trip towards the end of the summer, so while they were all excited to get together and have fun, summer would be nearly done by the time it came. Nick said she was “…kind of sad for Summer to end but I’m excited that fall is coming at the same time.” Overall, it was a fun get together, and Nick was glad to get out of the house for the week and spend her time outside with her best friends.
