Madison Troiani, Senior; asked her best friend, Abigail Horta, to their Senior Homecoming. Madison decided to ask her as, “it’s Senior year and I want to do something special for her,” and felt proposing to her was the perfect way to show her appreciation for their friendship. When looking for inspiration for her proposal board Madison thought of, “the Scream series as it’s her (Abigail’s) favorite.” Then when Abigail was eventually asked she, “laughed a lot,” as she saw it coming through hints Madison had gave her, but she was so thrilled to spend her last HOCO with her BFF. Madison loved the whole act of the proposal as she enjoys, “making things for people I love.” She feels creating things is her way of showing she cares and is honored that she was the one to show Abigail that appreciation as, “she deserves everything special.” She felt them going together would be the perfect was to create, “a happy, silly memory,” as she knows Abigail loves, understands, and accepts her and she wanted Abigail to feel just as special as she makes Madison feel. Overall, the board was a success as Abigail said yes to the proposal, and both were so excited to dance the night away together.
