Sophia Sutton student at Sunlake Highschool journey of joining yearbook. She is so excited to start her sophomore year off as a first year staffer on yearbook. Sophia started this whole journey freshmen year when she took digital design. Sophia loved how creative she could get within the class that she was looking forward to joining yearbook the following year. She is so excited to finally be apart of the yearbook staff and express her creativity through her work. Sophia is already prepping herself for what to expect in the class. She said, “Yearbook takes a lot of work and effort, so we all have to be locked in.” Sophia this year wants to get more comfortable and gain more experience with photography, editing, and designing. One thing she wants to improve on this year in yearbook is her social skills. By improving her social skills, Sophia will be able to comfortably do interviews which will also improve her writing quality. Sophia said, “I am most excited to start interviewing people and to see my work in the yearbook.” With all the hard work she is going to put into this class, Sophia hopes she can bring what she learns outside of high school and into the real world. Sophia has always had a creative side to her so she is looking forward to expressing that through an opportunity at school. Not only is it just school work and a class but, she is helping build a book that all students will be able to look back on in the future and realize how fun high school really was.
